Post by: D-type on July 10, 2011, 03:15:11 PM: I went the other way. As Brabham's modifications to the standard Cooper-Bristol were largely internal, I never thought of the Redex Special as being an Australian car so I never even considered it and went looking for an Australian-built special.
Having said that, I should still have recognised it :sigh:

Post by: Allan L on July 10, 2011, 05:26:38 PM: I too should have recognised it, but the coil spring/wishbone suspension misled me - didn't know the RedEx hadn't the standard transverse leaf springs.
