Peter Stevens?

Designed by Chris Lawrence? (remembering the only one guess at a time rule...!)
and built by Williams & Pritchard?

You almost have the correct answer there Carnut but I don't know who actually constructed the body - it could have been W&P...

You mean it was Chris Lawrence or it was Peter Stevens after all?!
Seems it was NOT built by W&P but since that wasn't part of the question I don't need to get that bit right anyway; you just need the make since the engine is already established.
If the correct answer is Chris Lawrence then it must be one of his Deep Sanderson projects, not the usual well-known one.  W&P DID build those, but not, it seems this car.

It is neither Chris Humberstone or Peter Stevens but it is one of those surnames if you see what I mean.
Let me have the name of the designer - christian and surname and you have the point!

Right, I'm with you!
It must therefore have been designed by Tony Stevens of Stevens Cipher fame - hence the Reliant connection!

That's it!
It is simply a Stevens GT designed by Tony Stevens of Cipher fame.
The ad I took it from described it as a De Suto Stevens (see attached) but quite frankly I have no idea regarding the De Suto name.
I found another very small photo of the car that appears in the second photo.
I'd be grateful if anyone has any more information on this interesting and good looking (in my opinion) car.

Does anyone know the year of this car?

I would guess at about 1968, but that is only a guess.
Maybe woodinsight has further information?

Unfortunately I only have the info I found in the ad but I would agree with Carnut about it being late 1960s.

I know a very similar car to this has appeared here before, but I believe this is a different one.
So, what is it, for 1 point?:

Since I didn't get a reply to my previous question, I will have to go with this which I am unsure about.

1967 DeSauto Stevens Le Mans GT 1996cc, designed and built by Anthony Stevens in the UK.

He did some body design work for Davrian (later Corry and Darrian) which is how I came across this very rare car.

My apologies.
I'd only clicked on the 'NEW' icon and didn't scroll up so hadn't seen your reply..

It is just about what you say, although it's not quite the de Suto Stevens which has featured elsewhere here (see the link).
It looks slightly different and was, I believe, simply the Stevens GT.  A very nice looking car in my opinion.

A very obscure car indeed and well done finding that one.  Incidentally his main claim to fame was the Reliant Kitten-based Stevens Cipher
rather than Davrians or Darrians.  He is now Professor Tony Stevens and is involved in electrically-powered vehicles but unfortunately failed to reply to my several emails to him asking for information about this particular car.

Another, rather unclear, picture:
