Solved - MJW #444 - Frank Hamblin's FWC car 1937

Apologies for the poor photo but it's the only one I've got.
Who was the man who created this car, the year and what did he call it?

Not Renault 4CV based and not French.
I can see that it's one of those - "I've seen that before, but where?" - frustrating......

Petrol engine in the rear?
It was a prototype that was designed to be fitted with a flat-four engine mounted in the rear.
Apparently the engine was never fitted before the project was halted.

Was this prototype built by a known car manufacturer?
No, but the chassis used was from a popular British car of the day.

Morris Eight?
Morris is correct but not the Eight - an earlier small car with a specific model name.

Was it meant to have a newly designed engine, or an existing one?
