Inspired by Arron65's fantastic 'Parts man' puzzle, here is another along those lines.
for one point I need to know what the diagram illustrates, and the make and model of car it came from.
Points will be awarded at the end.

#4- rear axle of Alfa Romeo Alfetta?

Unfortunately number 4 is not an axle nor is it from an Alfa Romeo.

Number 2 is a rear end (axle assembly), but it's not from a Jaguar.

#5: Hillman Imp engine and gearbox

Correct!

Spot on! An (almost) unique design with a sliding joint in the De-Dion tube.

#1 is the rear suspension arm and hub assembly from a BMC Mini, 1959-on. I'm not certain, but I think it's the rubber cone (non-hydrolastic) version, judging by the handbrake quadrant.

Correct, and I'm very impressed you guessed it was from a rubber sprung mini too.
