Solved - MJW #330 - Angelmar 1987
« on: March 14, 2011, 08:56:57 AM »
This is a bit of a mystery car to me.
I only have the name and country it originated from.
So, for a point - the make and country please.
Any additional information is very welcome.

Thanks for being the first to reply whcgt.
It's not that and it doesn't originate in the USA.

I really don't know.
As I said in my introduction I only have the name of the car and the country it comes from.
It's not Italian by the way.

Then I can supply some information:

The Angelmar was built in 1987 by Mr. Angelmar from Klosterneuburg in Austria. From 1980 to 1994 he built 3 cars, all based on a VW chassis with a fiberglass body. The sources are a little contradictory. This one is either the second one with a 1493cc 60 hp engine, or the third one, propelled by a Porsche Super 90 engine.

I think it fair to also award Wendax a point for the information and photos and to thank Arunas for his additional photos.
A rather obscure car is now revealed in all its glory........
