Assuming there are carbs. under that cover that rather limits the options: non-crossflow engine with the inlet/exhaust on the right, which is why I thought MG.
Possibly Triumph, then, but not a TR chassis as there seem to be dumb irons.

Since I don't know it I'll leave it for the others. Cheffins auctioned a nameless TR2 Special, HSL 815, in June 2003, but I have no photo if it, so it could be this one.

Peckmills Special was what I was looking for - well done Joao.

I actually have based on a 1958 TR2 chassis.
The car was built by Jeff Luff in 1999.
