Probably quite difficult but I'm sure an Expert will know it

Is it French?

(the machine gun at the front looks frightening...)

The wheels are Fiat/Simca is I'm not mistaken. Is it based on Fiat or Simca?

Quite frankly I don't know what the car was based on.
I only have the name, year and name of the constructor at the moment.

The year should be circa 1951?

Would it mean 1950?

And is it European at all?

1950 is correct.
It is European.
The make is the initial letters of the constructor's name.

AEG for A.E.Guy? I have my doubts about it being from 1950 though.

Hope no one would mind if I try one more, last for now - ATC of Alf Carroll.

Neither AEG or ATC.
I'll leave it for a couple of days before I add another letter clue.

This is the AKH special built by Alan Haworth in 1950-51, and is thought to be the 'first Rochdale' as they built the aluminium body. It has a Ford Ten engine and a tubular chassis designed and built by Haworth himself.

That's the car!
Well done Barrett.

I didn't realise that Alan K. Howarth designed the chassis also and I had suspected it was fitted with a Ford Ten engine. I knew about Rochdale building the aluminium body, so thanks for the extra information.
