That's the car but I suspect the date you quoted was the year of the donor car as Carisma didn't exist in 1983.
Can you give me the brief period when Carisma were active before they were taken over by Scorhill?

I was interested to see the Carisma pic as I run a blog www.carismacentury.blogspot.com and am familiar with the car featured and it is now in new hands. After light recommissioning it would appear to be going well and looks very nice. If I knew how to post a pic I would! Mine is in the paintshop at the moment and I am feeling really frustrated that I couldn't take her out over the recent dry spell. Guaranteed to rain as soon as I get her back together.

I'm sure you'll find the site interesting and everyone is very friendly.

I am glad to hear your car is alive and well but sympathise that it often rains when you take her out for a spin.
When I was living in Aberdeen in the 1950s/60s I remember many excursions in open sports cars when I would return soaking wet and frozen stiff. A hot bath and a couple of tots of whisky cured that but didn't dampen my enthusiasm for motoring in all weathers.

Posting photos on the site is relatively easy if you follow the help section. Otherwise I'm sure that someone here will be pleased to help you with that.

I look forward to reading your blog for updates in the future.
