Isn't this a mule for the Mercedes-Benz 300SL?

It is indeed the Mercedes-Benz 300SL test mule with Hermann Lang on the right at the Nurburgring.
Well done and another point for you.

Does anyone know where this photo was published?  Also I think it is serial #0001/52 300SL because of the jack ports on the tips of the entrance sills.. Could be Neubauer too..?

My source was an old British magazine (I can't tell you exactly which one now).
If I retrieve it I'll post it here.

I am very interested in any and all obscure and or unpublished photos and data of all the W194 race cars; specifically serial #0001/52 because I am currently putting together a re-creation based upon what is thought to be a spare W194 engine I found. If anyone has anything or knows where there is unpublished information let me know.. Here is a link to my project www.w194.com. Thanks Mark Passarelli
