Perhaps it's a Hebmuller-inspired car.

The comment I was going to make is that it looks very Hebmueller-ish to me, but I have no evidence at all to back that up!

Maybe I'm right, but the book I have in which it features doesn't mention any coachbuilder's name.

Yes this is always a problem with certain books/magazines where the writer is only concerned with the base car and the coachbuilder is secondary to the information that should have been added if known.
