I've seen this before ... This is a designconcept for a South African sportscar, called 'Tanaka' (or something like that). Since he doesn't have the proper means for a real concept, he made one himself based on the floorpan of a VW Beetle and made it out of metal sheets and wooden boards.

Is this the car? Because I'll have to look details up on this one ...

Found the details again ...

It's a Tahaka Awe2, build by Samora Malamule, a South African mechanical engineer. He build this 'car' out of metal, wood and fiberglass and is hoping to get the attention of the bigger guys in cardesign with his creation. He worked 4 years on the project and it's based on a VW Beetle floorpan, although is has no engine at the moment.

I've heard of this 'car', but I had to Google the details ...
