I'm pretty sure (think) this is the first Nota Levanti which was based around the remains of a crashed Lotus-engined Piper. A second car was made with a two-litre Ford engine. There were plans to put it into production in the late 1970s but its creator Chris Buckingham couldn't raise sufficient backing. He then left for the UK to join his father (and Nota founder) Guy before eventually returning to Australia to revive the marque.
