It's a children's TV show from the US in the 1960's and 70's. It featured figures and props animated using the stop-motion technique. Each episode featured a general Christian theme like sharing, tolerance or forgiveness. Having been raised by an Irish Catholic mother and schooled by nuns since the age of 6, I found the mild messaging to be an easy-to-take departure from the ruler-on-knuckles approach I was raised with to.
Vehicles and other props on the show were fashioned using the most basic of shapes. Though it doesn't illustrate my point well (the 'headlights' on this Jeep are not painted on, in typical Davey and Goliath fashion), this shot of Dave and his father boarding a ferry in their Jeep gives you a general sense.
