Sorry Wendax, this is probably getting a little dull for you.  How about a Cottin?

I just did a little bit of research again as I am not really very much into French racers. The name I have seems to belong to the man behind one of the already stated companies, although you had spelt that company incorrect. Sorry for that. It is not Gecam , but ... and the man behind is ...

Locked for you

More than two days without an answer. I think I will unlock.

Open for all again to finish this one off.

Should be GECEM.
Man behind it is Michel Pernoud of Annecy.
Somewhere between 1969 and 1977.

Not been around for the last two days as up to my neck in the Goodwood Revival.  As per my original post though, the car is the NSU-based GECEM; this one being the earlier one of two different coupe bodies built by GECEM, although I didn't know who made it.  Here's another (very large!) photo of the car.

Yes, Pernoud is the name I was looking for. This "NSU Proto" can be considered as a predecessor of the Gecem as far as I understand. This car is supposed to be from 1968.

I feel generous today and give both of you one point each. Woodinsight for being the first with the correct answer, Djetset for his early almost correct guess and the wagonload of French NSU based racecars he unearthed.  ;D

Argh.  The builder's name was staring at me all of the time, but I missed it!  The marque name of the car was GECEM though.
