We've already established that it is British, and based around a Fiat 126. The only other clue that I can give is that it was destined to be a TV star, but it never really made it to fame and fortune!

Very close, but I now realise that my movie clue was a little misleading (sorry) as the movie name forms most of the name of this car. So, locked to you Oguerrorob as it is almost Bambi, but with two more letters on the end (i.e. BambiXX).
