The sole reason Lloyd was making electric trucks was that the Bundespost was ordering them. I understand 3 manufacturers made electric trucks for the Bundespost up to about 1958, when the Bundespost simply stopped ordering them.

My mistake. The Bundespost used a lot of old Bergmann electro trucks after WWII, but Bergmann didn't supply any more, because they were located in East Berlin.
