Let's give you a little clue: builder is from Dortmund and the family business is still active, but there's no word on this car anywhere on their site.

No, the guy who built this was involved in, let's say, the auto-parts business. Not a mechanical part, but a part. Today the company, which bears his name is being run by someone else. He's still active in another field.

I never heard about this guy, just found this article from 1971...
It says that the guy who built this planned a yearly run of 15 units. I doubt it ever happened

No, it was a rather unknown company, and as I see it, the family is loosely connected to the automotive industry today

This is the 1969 RIBEC, built in Dortmund, powered by a Mercedes Benz 600´s modified engine.
It was supposed to be built in little numbers - obviously it turned out as a one-off...

I´ve found the same pictures in a 1969 "auto motor und sport" magazine:

There's a small tipo: Walter Ribic built this car, you can find his bio at Ribic Systems.

And you are probably right, Swiss Automobile Revue probably just took over the article from AMS a little late.

Anyhow, two very well deserved points have been added to your tally!
