Di Tella 1500 pickup, made in Argentina in the early 60's, using the body dies from the Riley 4/68, in part.

Oh, so close.  It is from Argentina, but the make is not quite Di Tella, it's not called the 1500 (although based on it) and it wasn't built in the '60s.  Locked for you for 24 hours (until 11:00am PDT)

The company was SIAM DiTella (?) was the pick-up truck known as the Argenta at this time? Or is this a later version when the operation had been taken over by CIA (another acronym, this time for Compania Industrial de Automotores). I think by then they were using the 1622cc engine so was this then the 1600? All guesses now, its all I've got.

It looks too home built, really - I think thewhite flash on the side is the problem, it looks like  a converted car rather than a purpose built pick-up...
