Looks pretty accurate!
I'm away from home at the moment though so don't have may files with me to see if I have anything extra or whatever; will move it when I get back at the weekend.
Hope you can be patient until then!

OK, I'm back now and have access to my files.
I didn't think I recognised the name 'Falcon' in relation to this puzzle, but I wanted to check to be sure.
And sure enough, that isn't the name I have, amazingly!
It is obviously the same car, made by the same company, even using the same picture, but the model name I have for it is different; whether it came before Falcon and they decided to rename it Falcon, or whether it came later I don't know.
But I'm still looking for the name under which the puzzle photo went, and it's an Allied Something Else!
Locked therefore for you to give me the other name, the one I'm looking for.

The only thing I can think of that happened..is that you read the main caption & have mistaken this car's identity. If this is so then you might be calling this car a Allied/Atlas Swallow..wich it is not...this puzzle car is: the 99" wheelbase Allied Falcon Roadster(1952)..by Bill Burke & shown at the 1954 Petersen Motorama. This car is now missing & Geoffrey is looking for it.

I have spoken to Geoffrey & he has confirmed that your particular puzzle car is known as the Allied Falcon Roadster by Bill burke. It has a 99" wheelbase..whereas the Allied Swallow has the shorter 95" wheelbase. In the pending future..he has told me that he has a follow up article about the car coming soon. :)

We are of course getting our information from the same source, and if that's what Geoff says then how can I argue with that?

Just to show though, I used the following as my basis for thinking it was an Atlas:

QUOTE
Burke had started by making an exact copy of the Cisitalia, but it didn’t stop there.   Their next version of the car was the same wheelbase but a roadster version.  This was finished and Burke’s personal car for awhile was an Atlas/Allied roadster.  He even had it on display at the Petersen Motorama in 1954.   And….we’ve found larger 99″ coupes, but never 99″ wheelbase roadsters.
UNQUOTE

So I figured that it was a 94" wheelbase roadster and hence was an Atlas; a 99" roadster would have been a Falcon but they had never found one!

However, it is a bit confusing and I think the information changes as new facts are found out, so we'll have to take what Geoff says today as definitive.  I certainly am in no position to argue as I know little or nothing about them other than what I read on his site!

Time therefore to move the puzzle..

I had this one as a Multiplex 186 with Willys engine. How does that fit in?

Yes and no!:

www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=10141.0

The Multiplex was basically the same car after assembly was switched from Allied, but it may not be quite so simple a that, as Otto said.
If you do some digging you might find all sorts of info, although much of it is probably lost in the mists of time..
