I guess it is German. Any connections to Lepoix?

It is German, but I don't think there's a connection to L.L. Lepoix.

It looks strangely close to the first Ligier voiturette, the JS4 (later with names JS6, JS8, JS10, 330, 430...).

A Dornier Delta prototype ?

Was it made in that city of the clue?

The company was resident in this city and I suppose the car was built there, as well.

Is it a still existing company like Böcker?

Is it a unique self-built example or was it built in small numbers?

The company once was very successful and famous for quality products. Unfortunatly they couldn't struggle against low prices especially of Asian producers and finally went bust.

....and there's no frog bridge in the city I'm after... ;)
Is it a unique self-built example or was it built in small numbers?
My source reports that this car was the only ever built...

No, much smaller than Munich. The partly revealed plate should show you the right direction..

Well, info about German plates is well documented on the internet, though some detective work is needed.

OK - the city is Braunschweig. Maybe this will shorten the search for those familiar with German Elektroauto

Whooom! He made it again.  :applause: :applause: :applause:
This was an abandoned Microcar project by Kynast from 1985¹ (?). Unfortunately I can't find anything about it on the internet and have to rely on one source only.

Quote

¹ I guess my source is wrong here. Bersenbrück already lost its own numberplate BSB in 1972. After that it got the OS plate of Osnabrück. However the car looks much older than 1985.

² the geo-picture shows Quakenbrück where Kynast was located. Quakenbrück got the same plate as Bersenbrück till 1972.

via GoogleTranslator:

Otto and his son Werner Kynast established in 1951 as a bicycle dealer in Quakenbrück and founded the Otto Kynast OHG, which soon began to produce bicycles and camping equipment. In 1966, the millionth bike was manufactured. From 1973, bicycles were developed with electric drive. As the first German manufacturer offered Kynast offered to BMX bikes.
In 1985, the prototype of an electric car developed under the name Kynast city car. The project of the two-seater car was stuck in development stage, because there was no suitable light weight batteries, which allowed a wider range of activity.
