My daily is a T4, and this looks definately like some ugly bastard of it.... But it seems smaller.

I'll say that it come form some emergent countries, like India or Pakistan ?

The base came from BMW and the body from VW. We can recogize the mirror from the T4.

No BMW parts I'm afraid.
This car is a mongrel from many car manufacturers and some VW parts are indeed used to built this van.

I see there's not only one, but some of this same "T4".... So it ist endorsed by VW or not ? I mean did VW allowed this production ?

VW did some elektric engined T4, called VW T4 Elektro Van.
There's even an official brochure of it, with 520 kg of Ni-CD cells in the back of the van.

But I suspect yours to have this special nose done to includ all the engine and cells in front of the vehicle....

Was it produced in Western Germany or in the former DDR ?

Not that I'm know.



BTW: I have to correct my self. The car is a certain form of hybrid, using a Diesel and a electric engine.

I could have sworn those front lights came from a Fiat Ducato van and the grille looks for all the world like a Lancia...
