A strange project that Karmann bodied Mirage... :scratch:
Was it ever completed and roadgoing?
Is the 4th of June, 1970 the date the photo was taken?
Who is Barrie Spencer? The photographer, the designer, the party host?
Why Karmann built this body shell?
 
I hardly know anything except of the name of the car and the name of the coachbuilder.
Maybe someone has more to offer for a future point.

I didn't have an idea about this puzzle when it was first posted but when I saw you were looking for a common German coachbuilder I jumped in and ...... Bingo!
