well it is a home-built Maserati replica that uses a 1984 Maserati Biturbo V6
built by Henrik I. Matevossian ( Генрика Матевосяна ) from Armenia the car has no "name" that I could find, even in the original message he apparently sent to a Russian auto blog.
If you were thinking it was called the "Aurora" that was a car he built previously.

Locked for you, but actually the car has a name... and it's clearly visible.

"V 6" that is clearly visible in the unaltered image of the vehicle.

Unfortunately you zoomed in the wrong part of the car. With other words: you need a different angle.

one of the main risks of autopuzzles is that you give assists while others only slot in, but that's the nature of the game.
So it's free for all rookies again!

I see stickers on the sides and right rear that say BiTurbo. Other than that, all the stories refer to it as his Maserati supercar or home-made Maserati. I even translated his Russion blog into English and he doesn't refer to it by any name

I found a source where the owner/builder introduced this car. And he mentions a name which is clearly visible on the trunk.

Yes but there's written almost the same name on the trunk of the newer car, though in smaller letters..
You're almost there. Only a small number away from the solution...

I'll give you a point. As far as understand the car was baptised the HODO II. At least the forum where I found it tells the story. You may right that there's 2000 BITURBO on the trunk instead of HODO Biturbo. My mistake.

cool. Thanks. This is about the best I could do with the pic. HODO II makes sense, though, because it was the second iteration. The original (shown above) was based on a VAZ-2101, which those of us outside of Russia know as the Lada.

Hmmm.. Maserati replica? I wonder which Maserati that would be then?!
Perhaps it looks vaguely like a Ferrari F40 if you squint...!
