All you've said is right except of the year (according to my source!) and the bodywork (which wasn't required).
Locked for you till your next reply

1937 perhaps?
I was only quoting the author Herr H.S. in my source.
Additionally, the car was apparently the work of designer Reinhard von Koenig-Fachsenfeld and had been ordered by Georg von Opel of the Opel car manufacturing family.

I just found out that these were two different cars, both commissioned by Georg von Opel and bodied by Dörr & Schreck in 1937 resp. 1938.

The car is from 1937 and bodied by Dörr & Schreck. The 1938 car looked different as can be seen above after I merge the topics.
