Can anybody inform from which car magazine the picture is coming? This one-off is apparently not alive anymore since no documentation can be found on it and the BMW 6 club of Germany is not even aware of its existence.

From memory, I think I took this photo from an old magazine, possibly either CAR magazine or L’Auto Journal, but I’m not 100% certain. If ever I can find it again I will let you know, but don’t hold your breath...

Interestingly late coverage by L'auto journal who are normally very quick, because number 14/15 1985 would mean almost a year after the appearance on the 1984 Turin motor show.

Whilst looking into it on E-Bay France I did find L'Auto Journal no.14-15 of 1984 which is dealing with the topic of the Turin motor show of 1984 but that is an magazine issue of September 1984 so meaning before the actual Turin show which was held in November. The picture however seems like one made in a show booth though.

Description on eBay must be wrong as L'Auto-Journal n°14/15 of 1984 doesn't deal with 1984 Turin motor show. It's the annual "Salon" issue that describes cars from the past 12 months.

There's a report of 1984 Turin motor show in L'Auto-Journal n°21 of 1984, but there's nothing about the Minardi BMW. It only deals with mainstream manufacturers and well-known coachbuilders.

Don't buy L'Auto-Journal n°14/15 of 1985 if you expect more details about the Minardi BMW as the description is very short and doesn't provide more information than what you can read in this thread. And the picture is actually very small (3 x 7 cm).
