I know many of these are reposts, but it's nice to have all the american streamliners of the 30s toghether, isn't it?

Have a question.
Harris had the car licensed, registered and titled in 1935.

He drove it around shaking the birdcage and drivetrain down.
Believe that part of the actual sheetmetal was on the car,

In 1936 they finished the body and prepped for paint.

Sooooo, with relevance to the topic and in general.

What Year would a person label the Harris Car, 1935 or 1936 ???????

I think it had something to do between him and Buehrig, chicken and egg thing Tuckeroo mentioned in another topic area.

About the year I took the one that is reported in the books and magazines, but I'm sure You know more than everyone!
I think, since it was not a production car, the year should be the one the car was completed in.

AFAIK Lewis' car was called Airomobile, not Aeromobile, while the Bridges was dubbed Lightning Bug. Pity that all the cars I knew have already been guessed  :-\

I'm both O/T and begging a favour now , but if anyone has anymore than this on the ' Coupe Aerodinamica ' by Pinin Farina on a 6C 2300 Pescara, they would have my profound gratitude as well as having brought pleasure to others as well - forgive my bad form but it has become an (-other) obsession, and this is surely the forum to ask ...

I found 7 designs of Pininfarina on a Pescara chassis, and even more on the 2300B chassis, but I'm pretty sure the first one (Archive's number PF189) is the one You asked (BTW I have pictures of all of them ready to be posted):

 it looks a bit Corsair too ... it isn't William Fageol, as in NXI/NKI/Metropolitan?
 i'm surprised the Dubonnet Dolphin didn't appear yet - must have missed american streamliners being specified - does anyone have a (contemporary) one of the Dubonnet Xenia for comparison with the Tasco (The American Sportscar Co. ...)?
