I hope there would be something left from what I know when (if) the puzzle will be moved. Great one! I always liked this type of cars.

I think 20 of them will be quite easy, then the rest will be a bit harder...
I will move it soon...

Alright, since nobody else is taking a chance, I'll move it now!

s18 is the Sterkenburg by John Tjaarda. Not sure about the year, though.
s31 looks like the 1934 car that John Tjaarda made for Briggs.

The answer "1933 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow" belongs to s32, not to s22  ;)

Weren't  you tired of the same old pic?

Yes! This wasn't so easy! You have a gooood eye! About the years, no problem, some of them are known, others not. I found this in a '35 magazine.

About the Sterkenburg, I found that John Tjaarda started designing it in 1926. But they didn't tell when the version shown here was finished. Automobilia - la revue de l'histoire automobile, #69, juillet - août 2004. In the same magazine they show the Briggs by Tjaarda, but without a proper name. Both are regarded as prototypes that eventually result in the Lincoln Zephyr.

I'd like to, but since I still live in the Middle Ages, I don't have a scanner nor a digital camera... I'll ask a friend of mine to make some scans or pics, but I'm not sure when that will be, since he's a busy man...
The Sterkenburg pic is a drawing seen from above (bird's view); the Briggs car is shown in several pics taken on the 1934 Chicago exhibition "Century of Progress" (Briggs stand), also with an interior shot and two shots of the (Ford) V8 engine. They say that the engine is behind the rear axle ('en porte à faux'), but it is clearly visible that it is placed in front of it. there is also a picture of John Tjaarda in front of the car, in a later configuration with air intakes in front of the rear fenders and with 'normal' headlights (like on your pic) - the car had sort of semi-built-in headlights when it was exhibited in Chicago.
In another boek ("Amerikaanse Automobielen 1929-1949" by Frank van der Heul, Uitgeverij Elmar, Rijswijk 1990) i found the same pic of the Sterkenburg as yours, but in a very bad quality (too much contrast).
