A design that I believe may have been built........
For one point identify the designer/builder, what it was called, the year and what it was based on.

Bertone BMW 2200 Garmisch, 1970
Yes, that's the car and another point for you.

I have it as BMW 2002 ti based, not BMW 2200 (which never existed)

Yes, you're right it was 2002 ti based, not 2200.
My mistake for not checking properly so facel can keep the point.

Facel

I have two books of Bertone.
In one book (Luciano Greggio) they speek about the 2002 TI.
In the other book (de la Rive Box/Richard Crump) they called on one page the painting as a 1001 TI and on another page the called the result as a BMW 2200 Garmisch.
Maybe you are both right but strange is that the use two different names in the same book.

Check p92 in your Crump and de la Rive Box as well; there it's (correctly) described as a 2002TI; so that's 3 names in the same book.  Looks like they were definitely hedging their bets!

I think you can blame the typesetters; these jobs are always done by those who can't tell the front from the back of a car and are littered with typos..

There are several pictures of the Garmisch out there.  It is either a very accurate mock-up, or a complete car
