Peugeot had some sports tourers in the twenties which looked quite similar. Is it a Peugeot or more obscure?

Some write Theophile, others Theodore, but surprised to see Torpedo WITH accent grave, and the name of the builder without. I believe they were sold as Th. Schneider. At least that is what is found, somewhat stylized on the front.

So let's do it as they have done, call it Th. Schneider. It seems he was really called both names. Any autopuzzler eager to look up old baptism registers in the Lyon or Besancon area?
