Schachts were built in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1904-1914. They were best known for their highwheel models. This is one of those highwheelers- a 1907. It appears from the photo it is easy to drive; given the age of the child in the drivers seat.
Here is a color photo of a 1905 Schacht highwheeler. It is interesting that the Pioneer Auto museum mispelled the name of this car & then printed post cards of this car with the wrong name.
They spelled it Schachet instead of Schacht. One letter added...means this being a color image that you cannot find..unless you enter the wrong name of the car. Interesting cars though, in the museum.
