It's a 1967 Pontiac Firebird, (the 68 was very similar but had larger indicators and one piece windows in the doors).  What makes this special?  First of the V8's?

Yes, it's a Firebird. Other than that, more investigation remains to be done!

This is the 1967 Pontiac Firebird "PFST," built by GM's Herb Adams.  It was built to investigate ideas for a performance Firebird, and kind of led to the 1969 Trans Am.  It had the OHC Six with three Weber carbs, and a bunch of handling mods, along with some body scoops.
