This is a one-off, using Corvair power. Built by a well-respected race car engineer. The parts you see are from an established builder of somewhat similar devices.

Looks like it could have been built from a late 40s Spartan travel trailer. Possibly 47/48 Spartanette Royal Manor.

It is a Spartan (I don't know the specific model)

Right on. I had a '65. Fast car.
Also the rear end was cleaner too because the bumper housed the tail lamps.
