Strange indeed! The front and rear end have something Peugeot-ish to them, but the middle is very Mercedes. Hmm!

As my books tell me this is just the "Kleinwagen", built with a 190īs cabin.

I remember this published in "AutoZeitung" in the early 80s. Meant to be a sensation it only remained a Ente* as it was proclaimed as a future Mercedes 'Kleinwagen'.

It was picked up on by the UK magazine Car who also speculated it might be a new FWD Mercedes hatchback!  The must have been what MB wanted people to think!
