Funny how terms develop.
Tuning used to be what people did to engines (and other mechanical parts) to improve performance and in the main they would be careful that there was no outward sign of their work (except sometimes for a discreet badge).
Based on the examples in this thread, dramatically changing the outward appearance is what tuners do now, so I ask you younger people to tell me if there is also any performance enhancement or is it all show and no action?
This is a Speedwell A35 and, apart from the racing numbers and stick-on front numberplate, would you know?
PS I think that Riley Pathfinder behind it is one I once owned!
