Solved: GC025 - Bill Sayer's Tiger Avon MR2
« on: February 11, 2011, 03:26:02 PM »
Bit tricky this one - I'm after several bits of information.

Not the base kitcar as that is easy
But the builder
And why it is unique

It is a mid-engined Locost roadster, still looking for the builder.

I know which of the midengined Locosts it is but I don't think I understand by "unique".

I didn't want to spoil it if someone else could give you the full answer you wanted. But, I was certain that it is a Sylva Riot but, since you said that it is the only one of its kind, I don't know then.

Quote from a well-known site...
"and then there was the most unique Tiger I have ever seen, owned by Bill Sayer it consists of an Avon chassis mated to the back end of a Mk1 Toyota MR2, this bizarre creation even goes so far as to have the instrument panel and centre console from the donor car. A truly strange machine"
