I was just in the process of composing and writing out an answer for pguillem, and was intending to lock some of them which are largely correct but lacking some detail.

Before I got the chance to post, however, I saw Wendax's hugely comprehensive list of answers, most (but not all) of which are correct, and many of which include the final details which I was going to ask pguillem for.

So I've had to go away and have a bit of a re-think and will try to decide  how to allocate the points fairly.

It's going to take some time so probably not back until tomorrow!

There are still some gaps for others (not many..) and some answers are not correct but I just can't say which at the moment!

I will give answers in the order in which the replies came in, so first will be pguillem then Hondast then Amsterdam then Wendax.

I hurried because I guessed that somebody could be pretty quick, that's why many details were missing. Boy, was I right : Wendax answers are tremendous !  It definitely seems that we have some bus experts at AutoPuzzles. methinks that there are also some truck experts.  :o :o :o

Well, I had a lot of fun the last days.  :D
And I still have:

#14 is a 1933 Yellow Coach model 709, built by General Motors Truck Corporation in Pontiac, Michigan, powered by a GMC 253 cu. in., 76 hp, front mounted gasoline engine. This was the smallest general bus (city type) built by GM (20 passenger) and only 63 were made.

My answer to #3 has lost some words on the way. The last remark should have been:
electricity generated by 4-cylinder Buda gas engine

Just in case... I couldn't find on the Net any decent photograph of model 709 but I had one of 1935 model 715.  Could it be ?

The Versare bus was nicknamed "Atwater Monster" or "Green Monster".  It is a 800 model.

800 is not really the model name, but the car number given by the Montreal Tramways, I think.

Am I loosing it or are post disappearing here  ???

I thought I read a post about the Yellow Coaches #4 and #27?
When you said Yellow coach was wrong I continued my search but came up with the same answers and decided to leave it.

What I found was:

#4 1931 Yellow Coach Z-BH-602 #1244 for Fifth Avenue Coach Company
#27 1938 Yellow Coach Model 735 #2015 for Fifth Avenue Coach Company

No, the posts are still there on Page 1.
I think I have misled you on #27 and it turns out it is by Yellow Coach Co after all, so I will be giving you a point, although I will also have to give Wendax a point for it because he also got it right before I had the chance to revise what I said to you!
Also you will get a point for #4 in due course because you are the first to identify its model name in full.
