Light Problem 7 - Ford Ka and others
« on: October 17, 2011, 06:05:53 PM »
I haven't done one of these for a while - usual format this has been used on at least two cars. Name the cars a point for each one.

That is one of the cars so you will get a point for that - however it was used on another car as well....

Who knows that?

Not that I knew of that car it wasn't what I had in mind. The car in mind was another make entirely which the only bit of the Ka used was the lights..... Not as easy as you may think.

It has already been identified as the KA headlamp.

I'm after the other (non-ford) car it was fitted to.

The Ford Ka head lights were used officially on the Paul Banham Conversions Redina: a Skoda S110 Estelle-based convertible kit, plus unofficially on a few examples of the Sylva Jesta kit car.

I only have occassional Blackberry access at the moment as lost in the middle of France so will upload images of the above when next at a more robust PC in a couple of days.

Well. I will give you those. I was looking for the sylva jester as I have several photos on file with the Ka headlamps fitted to them. In fact the shape of the fibreglass is designed to take them....

I will add some photos before moving this one to solved... But I am not on the computer at the moment just the iPad.

Found my way out of a rainy France, so now at a more robust PC and able to add the images of the Redina and Jester below, as promised.  Thanks for the points.

I forgot to add another vehicle that uses a Ford Ka headlamp; the Merlin F2 motorcycle sidecar combo, as below.
