It's a Bugatti............or is it really?

Actually this is a 1973 Lincoln Continental that has been customised by Creative Car Craft in California.  The car was marketed as a modern take on a nostalgic theme with ultimate luxury in mind.........in this case the result was a rather tasteless 1970's version of a Bugatti Royale complete with authentic Bugatti horseshoe grille.  As Bugatti was defunct at this time no official "Type" designation was allocated to this project and there is a fair chance that the Bugatti name and badging was "Pirated."  The cars were marketed in 1976 but were too expensive in comparison with a factory built Caddy.

Correct again.
How or even whether Sherman and Kent, who planned to build 2 of these cars through Kent's Creative Car Craft in Hawthorne, obtained the rights to the Bugatti name remains unknown.

Possibly stealing the name, the proportions, the lines, wht else could be wrong with this?
Oh yeah, it's based on a '73 Lincoln (first bad year). What a freakin mess!

;) $66,000 + in 1976 ??? No way! ..."my hotrod Lincoln"... Back then, you could have bought a used Lamborghini Miura & a DeTomaso Mangusta for the price of this urban bovine machination. :lmao:
