Yes,it's an Alfa Romeo... ;D

All I want to know it's the coachbuilder, the model, the year of this car (original and rebody) and what it was.

It's a 6C 1750.The coachbuilder is obscure,not De Mola and not Belgian.
The year is wrong too.

barrett

Is the coachwork Italian?

João

We already know : It's an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 with Italian coachwork (obscure)

Yes! Locked for you to find the original configuration and the year of rebody..not 1953.

SV 3710 is the number plate AFAIK

I still haven't been able to find more information on the origins of this car on-line but I came across the website of the coachbuilder Aprile. They state that the bodywork dates from 1953 but I think this may be a typo for 1935.
I would imagine that the original car was a fairly unexciting saloon or tourer and can't imagine that a Zagato bodied 6C 1750 would have been rebodied in this way unless it had been badly damaged.
I'm still searching..........

João

:lmao: It was a Zagato bodied 6C 1750!!

Yes,the date I am asking is near 1935.

woodinsight

Wow, why would anyone want to do that?
I guess in the 1930s Zagato-bodied 6C 1750s were considered old-fashioned!
Perhaps this was done in 1938?

João

Yes!!!!!! 1938 is the year!

Well deserved point  :applause:

woodinsight

Thank you - I enjoyed the challenge!
