Alright I'll take the plunge.
I haven't found the exact car yet but it looks very similar to the bodies built in-house by Delage.
However I'll take a first guess at Galle

Good guess,but it's not a Gallé body..This coachbuilder bodied a lot of Bugattis  ;)

My second guess would be Figoni based on some similarities to the Bugatti 46 bodied by them

I have to say I'm not that familiar with 1920s/1930s coachbuilt cars except for the more obvious ones.
However, I'm learning......!
I'll have another guess at Ansart & Teisseire as they built a similar type of body on a Renault NN chassis in 1928.

I'm afraid I haven't seen the significance of your clue yet.
In the meantime I'll go for Billeter & Cartier of Lyon.
I'm still working my way through a list of possibles - quite a few perhaps.....

If I may ask a question - is the coachbuilder a well-known name or somewhat obscure?

Thank you - I enjoyed solving it even though I didn't tie it up with your first clue.
