For one point answer me, the why what where when for the below picture. Or in other words; What is the story here?

The exhibit is in Ballinacarthy in County Cork, Ireland where Henry Ford's father lived or was born.  It was commissioned to comemorate that fact and to coincide with the Model T's 100th birthday.

I hate to say it, but it is still not complete. It's almost there, but no When is given.

Well, in theory, it should have been unveiled on 1st October 2008?

Good ol Wikipedia says the satue was erected/unveiled on September 3rd 2000 which I reckon then was as a commemoration of Henry Ford and his ancestoral roots in the area rather than the centenary of the Model T.

Got to say that I live in a fairly quiet rural town in the north of Scotland but reckon that a similar sculpture where I live would not have lasted for 10 years....sad really but a credit to Ballinascarthy
