Year 1970, I was looking for more photos. That year won the SP championship in Argentina driven by Néstor Jesús García Veiga .

I wonder what the reason is for the raised/domed roof? More aerodynamically efficient?

I think it has to do with a minimum car height for homologation.

Come to think of it several other racing coupes in Argentina also appeared with these heightened roofs.
