Silverstone 1952 or 53 possibly the Whiteheads' Alta (can't find a photo)

It is at Silverstone during one of the years you mentioned. But its not an Alta, Whitehead's or otherwise.

Yep it is indeed the HAR F2 racing in the 1952 International Trophy. Well done and a point 2U.
I think the car behind is Bill Dobson's Ferrari 125 (which raced as #21).
