Not English and not French, and not based on another car. I don't know about the engine and drivetrain, but it's chassis is made for this car. The car still exists today in a private collection and has it's second body, which is shown in the photo.

I know what's on the 2nd picture. Regarding the relation to the 1st picture: is there any relation beyond the fact that the two cars are from the same country?
