An odd-ball, for sure.

Know the story? For 1 point, identify the base vehicle, and the people responsible for its appearance as you see it here.

Partial answers will be answered with 'incomplete', so be sure to answer both parts of the question.

Another glut of fuzzy scans of kit cars and other frights in Rookie-land.

This fright deserves to mingle with another crowd.

This is "Prickstine", a LeMons racer based on a 1987 BMW 325e and built in 2010 by Team Prickstine (previously known as Team Porcubimmer).

That's it!

With "a 1987 BMW 325 (eta engine, 4500rpm redline, woooooo) .... it idled funky, had bad brakes and tires, and the mileage was unknown .... but had a straight body and seemed to drive OK. It can also transport a good amount of Tecate".

Here's the car in its previous "Porcubimmer" configuration. Why the odd name? It's "the world's only BMW with the pricks on the outside"
