Solved - NEH 1383: LuAz-1301 4x4 prototype - 1988/9

1 point for correctly identifying this car:

it looks like Alfa Romeo wheels, some sort of Fioravanti concept?

Don't believe Fioravanti was involved, no.
But I'll check tomorrow to make sure and if any different I'll let you know!

No, there's no connection with Alfa Romeo.
Have checked and can't find any reference to Fioravanti either, so pretty sure he wasn't involved.
And it's not an Italian car.
So it's back to the drawing board!

I was wrong with the wheels, that's lada Niva's wheel!

Is it the base of the car, or they just borrowed the wheels?

The answer is ...NAMI-LuAz Proto.This prototype was realized in the 1988-89.

Well, yes - that's what you said before but you've added the 4x4 bit that's written on the side..

But what is it a developent of?  It has a full accurate model description.
