'57 Corvette built by Bob McNulty for Bob Moreira with Studebaker grille & '58 Lincoln headlights ?
-
It is a Corvette, and it's been modified with a Studebaker grill and Lincoln lights. Otherwise, the information I have is different
-
It is the 77th Corvette ever produced, 53 roadster .
It was then chopped up and turned into a custom using Chrysler, Studebaker, and other various parts by Buster Dobbs .
-
Virtually complete... ;)
-
What else ? :D
-
As with many custom cars, it has a unique name.

Kool Kustom !

This is the 1953 "HARERAZN" Corvette, modified in 1959 by Buster Dobbs. Buster installed a '56 Studebaker hawk grille, frenched '58 Lincoln headlights, handcrafted fiberglass fins, and frenched '56 dodge taillights. The car has been completely restored, and if you search for it under ""Harerazin Corvette" you can see it in all its restored glory.

A nice car. Only the light design/arrangement is suboptimal I think.

I actually remembered the car from then-contemporary (1960 or so) custom car magazines. I didn't know it was still around. While some of the features may be a little strange-looking to today's eye, remember to consider the car in the context of the time it was created . . . and in 1959, the whole canted-headlights and tailfins "kustom" look was all the rage.
I applaud the restoration of it to its appearance as originally customized - not too many folks would do that, and it's a part of automotive history that deserves to have its story told. Great puzzle.
