One picture is some guy. The other pic is a car. His car? Maybe, but probably not. And yet, in a very Kevin Bacon-y way, there is a connection.
For 1 point, sleuth the (indirect) connection between the guy, and the car
Be sure to answer all parts of the question, if you'd like the point. No points or accolades for Google searching the image of the car. Many (most?) auto enthusiasts can name it on sight, anyway.
And Google image search won't identify the other picture for you, either. >:D

So, we have a Taurus SHO, and we have the once-popular singer Mark Lindsay. As a 'solo' artist, the latter had a short list of songs that charted.

Mark Lindsay in 1980....dubbed a voice and co-wrote the musical score(with W. Michael Lewis), for the American version of the Japanese movie Shogun Assassin. So, the loose connection being...Mark Lindsay-Shogun Assassin & Ford Taurus SHO...sharing the letters SHO. :)

I suspect there's more than one way to do this, Kevin Bacon-wise, but here goes.
Mark Lindsay co-wrote the song Amanda which was sung by Dionne Warwick in the film The Love Machine (1971).
Dionne Warwick appeared in the film Rent-A-Cop (1987), which starred Burt Reynolds.
Burt Reynolds starred in Starting Over (1979), in which Kevin Bacon also appeared (had to get him in somewhere :D ).
Kevin Bacon appeared with Tom Hanks in Apollo 13 (1995).
Tom Hanks provided the voice of Woody in Toy Story (1995), in which Buzz Lightyear was voiced by Tim Allen.
Tim Allen starred in the film The Santa Clause (1994), in which he drove a silver 1990 Ford Taurus SHO. 8)

And to clarify further, Mr. Bacon is not part of this puzzle. Just using a common reference many can relate to, for the type of connection to be made. The connections are not necessarily person-to-person. Could be person-to-thing, person-to-work, etc....

The clues point to Mark Lindsay's song Silver Bird. There's an airport stand numbered 19, and the astrological sign for Capricorn. The first stanza goes:
Get aboard the silver bird, departing Gate 19.
Satisfy your Walter Mitty mind, tryin' out a dream.
Your sign is Capricorn and every corner of your mind,
Says you'll remain my friend, my friend until you're mine.
The name and song link to Yamaha, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer.
Silver Bird was the name given by Don Vesco to the streamlined twin-engined Yamaha-based machine he built in 1975, and in which he broke the 300-mph barrier at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
At about the same time Yamaha also started using the Mark Lindsay song in their television adverts, with the first line modified to "Get aboard the silver bird, it's a magical machine".
Then in the late 1980s, Yamaha were contracted by the Ford Motor Company to develop and produce a compact 3-litre twin-overhead-cam V6 engine, designated SHO (for Super High Output).
This engine was used in the first generation Ford Taurus SHO.
