One point on offer for what makes this Rolls-Royce unusual, who built it, and what is the chassis base?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

It has Nissan Patrol(whatever that is) transfer case and front diff.
Most of the origonal 1976 Rolls parts are still there. The alloy V8, the GM tranny, the rear diff and brakes are all Rolls.
It was built by Len Woods.

This came right up on a Rolls 4X4 search. I'm not proud to earn a point this easily, but it was a pleasure to learn about it!

Well done VVV, I said some of these recent puzzles should be a little easier.  An accurate and complete answer, and worthy of another point.  It's worth adding that the car was modified in Australia, and a Nissan Patrol is a large, rustic SUV, known as Safari in its domestic Japanese market (and confusingly also sold as a Ford Maverick in Australia!).

Yeah, actually I totally agree, there should be a few easier puzzles.
Probably 90% of even the rookie Puzzles are too hard for me, and I consider myself a hard core car guy with 47 years under my belt.
If I may, I would like to retract my statement about the puzzle being too easy.
It's actually fun to learn about a vehicle without endless searching all the time.

I didn't mean to sound ungreatfull - thanks for the great puzzle!!!

Glad to be of service VVV, and you are now only 6 points away from the puzzles becoming even harder! ;)

Whilst I agree that it would be good to see a few easier puzzles being posted (I try to post a few easier ones from time to time - my Beechcraft Plainsman was solved within 10 mins. of posting!), I think members' areas of expertise is so wide and varied it is difficult to say what may be easy for one is not necessarily so for another.
I personally know very little about American production cars, modern and concept cars, etc. but ask me about some H-Mod sports racer of the 1950s or an obscure one-off European then my interest is immediately fired.
Good luck Vincent, I hope you enjoy this site as much as I have since joining. Happy puzzling!

Good god I'm screwed!
At least as far as earning points, but who cares about that.
I really am greatfull just to be learning about all the great and extreemly obscure (mostly) European cars from long ago.

The fact that - as you say - the areas of expertise is so wide and varied is what makes this site so great. We all get to learn from each other.
Everyone's from different areas of the globe too. That really adds to the learning capabilities.

And YES! I really dig this site big time!!!
