This was a mockup only, but a fairly important one. Can you tell me more about this vehicle?

Carnut

This is the Waseda ESRV-2, an exercise in multi-purpose modular concept design by mechanical engineering students at Waseda University, Tokyo between 1973-4.
Interests in life:  Cars, cars, cars - oh and ..er..cars

It is locked for Carnut. Waseda University is correct, but I have a slightly different year and a totally different name - two different sources report the same name so I tend to believe in it.

I didn't get my information from the 'Net but from a 1987 edition of the much-respected Japanese publication "Car Styling", which is not noted for publishing falsehoods..

Yes, one of my sources is Car Styling, but a 1997 issue which gives another name. Another online source also gives the same name. Let's declare this solved. What I found was WUW by Waseda University
